Honda GL 1200 Goldwing GL1200 Interstate Aspencade Light Smoke Tint Windshield

Standard size Lightly Solar/Smoke Tinted. #S-163 REPLACEMENT WINDSHIELD It is designed to directly replace the stock size shield found on the genuine Honda brand fairing. Some GL1200 motorcycles had optional "wind wings" on the sides of the shield. If your's had windwings, you can re-use them on this shield if you would like, but you'll have to drill holes in this shield in order to mount them on it. This shield will NOT fit Vetter, Pacifico, Bates, Aurthur Fulmer, Cutter nor any other aftermarket fairing. 23-1/2" tall (standard height) 3/16" thick stock/standard width. This shield directly replaces the stock size shield on the genuine Honda brand (Hondaline T) fairing of the early'80s.

It is made of Lucite ® which is a very nice windshield material. It is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market. It is one of the most optically clear materials available.

Lucite is more optically clear than hardcoated Lexan® windshields are. Lucite resists yellowing more than most other windshield materials.

Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hardcoating. Hardcoated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making this Lucite shield a wise long term investment.
