This very large windshield is just the ticket when you are looking for a windshield that PROVIDES FULL WIND AND DEBRIS PROTECTION of your upper body including your arms. This is the shield that started it all for Slipstreamer. Although there have been a few design changes to the hardware over the years, it is the same shield. It is aerodynamically designed to provide maximum wind and debris protection. It is designed to be lightweight, provide high visibility, and increase aerodynamic performance.

It's rounded styling, cushioned headlight seal to cut wind noise and adverse air flow make the S-03 the leader of the line. This unique design fits round as well as square headlights. This shield is constructed of Dupont® engineered Lucite® acrylic which is a high quality windshield material.

Lucite is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market and it is one of the most optically clear materials available as well. Lucite is more optically clear than hard-coated Lexan® windshields are. Lucite resists yellowing far better than most of the other windshield materials available these days. Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hard-coating. Hard-coated shields deteriorate rather quickly in comparison to Lucite which makes a Lucite shield a much wiser long term investment.

It's strong 4 point mounting system is made of anodized black aluminum. It attaches to your handlebars as well as to the sides of your headlight. This windshield's hardware kit is adaptive for motorcycles with slight modifications, but it fits motorcycles in their stock configuration the best.

As with anything mechanical, a little mechanical ability is advised for putting this on. It takes us about 30 minutes to do a complete installation of one of these.
