PRODUCT: NEW Dark Smoke Tinted Slipstreamer® Spit FireT windshield This little handlebar mounted windshield comes with a quick detach installation hardware kit. SHIELD SIZE: 15" tall above the headlight 17" tall in over all height 16 wide at it's widest point 3.0mm thick The size in general is considered: SMALL. DESCRIPTION: This windshield is geared more towards people who are 5' 8 or shorter and/or people who just want a small cheap shield to tuck in behind when they need a little protection from wind and debris. This small Spit Fire windshield comes with quick detach mounting hardware for easy removal. It attaches to the handlebars using a 2 point mounting kit. The mounting hardware is made of anodized black alloy and satin finished black plastic. The satin black finish on the hardware eliminates sun glare for safety sake. Black, being a neutral color, will match any motorcycle. The hardware is highly adjustable which allows you to position the shield where you want it.

Also, the high level of adaptivity the hardware kit provides will allow this shield to compensate for different heights and widths of handlebars, from low style drag bars all the way to ape hangers as long as the handlebar tubing is the stock diameter. The shield is made of acrylic Lucite® which is a nice windshield material. Lucite is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market. It is one of the most optically clear materials available.

Lucite is more optically clear than hard-coated Lexan®. Lucite resists yellowing more than most other motorcycle windshield materials.

Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hard-coating. Hard-coated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making Lucite windshields a wise long term investment. Slipstreamer shields are made in the USA. Super-Sonic processing of continental U.
